The Meter and Communication Layer

For industrial applications: three-phase PES-20 meters with Modbus RTU/TCP, connected via RS-485 bus to a data concentrator. Sampling at 15-minute intervals for billing, 1-minute for real-time monitoring. Redundant cellular backup is recommended for critical applications.

The Dashboard and Decision Layer

A well-designed industrial dashboard shows consumption by circuit, daily/weekly trends, cost attribution by cost centre, peak demand tracking, and anomaly alerts. Data should export in CSV or API format for integration with ERP or production systems.

Example Decisions
